INTRODUCTION
This is the software packages OpenTel.
It provides grid integration for robotic telescopes based on the Globus Toolkit middleware.
It is free open source software released under the Apache license. See copyright for details.
COMPONENTS
| bin/ | Folder of the OpenTel tools, i.e. user interface for the submission and cancellation of observations, selection of telescopes, geration of schedules, etc. |
| broker/ | Telescope broker for selection telescopes according to certain requirements |
| cwm/ | Cwm, a general-purpose data processor used by the broker (http://www.w3.org/2000/10/swap/doc/cwm.html) |
| dbtriggers/ | Datebase triggers for submitting metadata to the AstroGrid-D information service Stellaris |

| SPARQL/ | SPARQL query examples to retrieve infromation from Stellaris |
| scheduler/ | Scheduler for creating of observation schedules for continuous observations within a given list of telescopes |
| targets/ | Examples of RTML observation request |
| telescopes/ | Folder of static RTML descriptions of all integrated telescopes |
| xml/ | XSLTs used by the OpenTel tools to determine certain properties from the RTML descriptions |

Prerequisites are an installation of the Globus Toolkit, valid grid certificates and the information service Stellaris.
